Changelog

Recent releases, in reverse chronological order.

A clearer, faster front door

  • Every mode that is not live yet now shows its target quarter and a "Notify me" button, so you can be told the day it opens instead of checking back.
  • /contact has a real message form — pick a topic, write once, and it reaches the right team.
  • Pricing and Contact are now in the main navigation instead of the footer only.
  • Photographs are served in modern formats at the size your screen needs, cutting the home page to roughly a third of its previous weight.

Cookies, consent and privacy

  • Analytics cookies no longer load until you accept them. A consent banner offers Accept, Reject or per-category control, and "Cookie settings" in the footer reopens it at any time.
  • Rejecting analytics is remembered on your device and nothing beyond strictly-necessary cookies is set.

One set of numbers across the platform

  • Carrier and port counts on the home page, the pricing page and ShipScanner are now derived from live system data, so they always agree.
  • Plan names are consistent everywhere: Basic, Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise.
  • Retired plan tiers no longer appear as empty cards on the pricing page.

Accessibility and reduced motion

  • Page content is readable immediately, even on a slow connection or with scripts blocked — headlines no longer wait for an animation to run.
  • Animations are switched off automatically for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion.
  • Added a "Skip to content" link and proper labels on the footer social links for screen-reader and keyboard users.

Pricing & checkout

  • Pricing and billing now read from a single plan catalog, so a price change shows up in both places at once.
  • Fixed the upgrade button on the pricing page — it now takes you straight to checkout.
  • Plan descriptions rewritten to state exactly what each tier meters: bookings per month, with search and tracking counted separately.

Sign-in reliability

  • Sign-up no longer hangs when our identity provider is slow; it now fails fast with a clear message instead of an empty spinner.
  • You stay signed in across releases — sessions last 60 days and refresh silently.
  • Support and sales addresses consolidated so replies always reach a monitored inbox.

CO₂ emissions per departure

  • Each schedule row shows estimated CO₂ for the booked container based on great-circle distance and a per-carrier efficiency factor.
  • A transparent emissions figure on every row, shown alongside the rate.

Carrier registry expanded

  • Now covering 36+ container lines (Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, Evergreen, ZIM, Yang Ming, Wan Hai, KMTC, ANL, Hamburg Süd, Sealand, Safmarine and more).
  • Real logos at SCAC-coded filenames; SCAC alias normalisation so legacy short codes (ZIM, HAPAG, ONE) resolve correctly.

Unified hero search

  • Origin / destination / date / cargo / search in one chip-style bar with inline port autocomplete.
  • Same bar lives on the home page and on /schedules so the experience is consistent.

Live container tracking

  • Auto-detects container, AWB or BL number from a single input.
  • Renders prepol / pol / pod / postpod sequence + AIS-based vessel position when available.
